This is an exhaustive article published in El Mundo about hospitals that are installing wi-fi aerials in order to improve their services to their patients. Thanks to wireless Internet connections, they can access to medical records quicker and from any point of the hospital, and they can also send prescriptions directly to the pharmacy. These hospitals use a central server where doctors connect via wi-fi from the rooms, or even from the operating theatres. To make that possible, they use computing terminals or PDA and TabletPC; San Llàtzer Hospital in Palma de Mallorca or Virgen de la Arrixaca Hospital in Murcia are two examples. Moraleja and Zarzuela (Sanitas) Hospitals and the Clínica Universitaria in Navarre have installed wi-fi too.
