The French operator Free is preparing a nationwide wimax offer, which will be the first of its kind in the world. The announcement is very important because Free is an ADSL company that offers IP phone services to its clients with Internet access as well.This means that operators that don’t count on a network of their own (Ya.com in Spain is an example) could start to offer wimax soon. Free’s service will be available in the main cities of the country and, in principle, it’ll be free of charge for those clients paying ADSL.
