But the third generation mobile services have something very important against them: their price. The only application that seems to be working fine is the download of E-mails with terminals like ‘blackberry’; but this is no 3G. Wireless terminal makers had decided to wait for the launch of mobile wimax, but now they don’t have any excuse to market their products. Nokia, Samsung and Motorota are some of the companies that have announced their intention of add wimax chips to the 3G ones.The main problem is now the certification of the equipments, which could take up to two years. It is possible that 3G has reduced its price and even improved connection speeds by then.
