Companies don’t only show interest in WiMAX by launching new equipments or infrastructures. The North-American Samsung subsidiary for venture capital, for example, has just invested 20 millions of dollars to finance Beceem Communications. This is the main maker of chips for the wireless technology.It is also one of the best companies in order to start the production of processors for mobile WiMAX. Beceem was founded in Silicon Valley and it takes part in the Wimax Forum.
